The options include short routes through quiet forests and level paths alongside canals or converted railway lines – as well as gut-busting, mountain bike ascents (and hair-raising descents!) on demanding hillside trails. With downhill courses scattered across the country, there are heaps to choose from.
You don’t need your own bike – you can hire it when you arrive. Many of our members hire out mountain bikes and road bikes for children and adults and in some cases gravel bikes, fat bikes and touring setups. E-bikes are also becoming more popular and widely available.
You could hire for just a day or opt for a guided day trip, book a self-guided tour or embark on a fully-guided group holiday. You don’t need to carry your luggage on longer tours either – many of our members will sort that out for you too. All you need to do is pedal your way through some of Europe’s finest scenery!
