WildFox Events Ltd is a family business run by David and Joanna Fox-Pitt. For over twenty years they have welcomed visitors to their base at Kindrochit Farm, Ardtalnaig, South Loch Tay, the perfect place to start an adventure in Highland Perthshire.
WildFox Events offers bespoke activity days and half-days designed around small groups of mixed ages and abilities who are looking for friendly, fun and informative guided experiences. Such micro-adventures complement their well established larger fundraising challenges.
WildTime Offline
David and Joanna are passionate about encouraging an appreciation of wilderness environments. Nurturing love and respect for wild places plays a vital role in health and wellbeing and gives balance away from screen time. This is referred to as WildTime Offline.
On the doorstep is access to wildlife watching opportunities, off-road walking and cycling trails, hill and moorland habitats as well as ancient woodland, ruined villages and the shore of Loch Tay. Kayaks are also available to rent.
Events:
Artemis Pentland Peaks Challenge is just one of the many events WildFox runs. It's a brand new endurance walking event in the glorious Pentland Hills near Edinburgh, held in September. There are Gold (27 miles), Silver (14 miles) and Bronze (8 miles) challenge routes to test every level of fitness.
Other events include the Glencoe Marathon and The Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon
Design your own trip
For example a walk along the loch side to see beaver activity followed by a reflective wander through magical woodland and a tour of historic ruined traditional dwellings.
